    Can you hear me now?

    I just finished playing my tenor with the new mute and all I can say is that Steve has another success! It seemed like my volume came down by about 60% or so with NO change in my tone.

    I've been struggling for some time now to find time to practice when I didn't interupt family harmony (I have two young children). The mute reduces my volume level (without sacrificing sound quality) to the point that in a well "closed off" room I can now get the playing time I need/want without walking up my kids.

    Thanks Steve - someone must have told you just how badly I need the practice time.
