Things you may or may not wish to know about me.....

Steve Goodson
Here's the basic stuff you've come to expect: I'm 60 years old, hold a bachelors degree and a MBA, am happily married to a six foot tall redhead (I always wanted a six foot tall redhead to call my own...), started playing saxophone professionally at age 13 and have pretty much been everywhere but the electric chair and seen everything but the wind at one time or another. I spend most of every day designing saxophones, mouthpieces, necks, and other accessories and overseeing production for Saxgourmet Products. I maintain a studio of about 15 students because I love teaching. I retired from playing gigs in 2004 for reasons of health, although I still very much enjoy the life of a retired rock star and insist on being treated as such. I continue to live in New Orleans because I love it here. My non-musical interests include (but are not limited to) gentlemen's clubs, southern culture, politics, carnivorous plants, and the restoration of the House of Stuart. I am currently learning to speak Chinese, and am an enthusiastic follower of the teachings of J.R. "Bob" Dobbs. I try to live by our company motto: Sic gorgiamus allos subjectatos nunc
